President Obama named as “Person of the Year” for 2012 and Apple CEO Tim Cook was one of the four nominees for Time Magazine’s Person of the Year for 2012 which is pretty good news. Cook is definitely doing excellent job with Apple company since he stepped up to accept his responsibility for Apple’s maps issue, working hard to bring products into USA and improving working conditions for factory employees. Here what Time Magazine said about Tim Cook:
“And like an Apple product, Cook runs smooth and fast. When Jobs died on Oct. 5, 2011, of pancreatic cancer, there were questions about whether Cook could lead Apple. Some, myself included, wondered whether Apple was even a viable company without Jobs. Since then Cook has gone about his business apparently unintimidated by his role as successor to one of the greatest innovators in history. Cook’s record hasn’t been flawless, but he has presided in a masterly way over both a thorough, systematic upgrading of each of the company’s major product lines and a run-up in the company’s financial fortunes that can only be described as historic.”
It is true that many people do wonder if Time Cook will become successful leader or not after Steve Jobs passed away however he is doing excellent job with Apple company since. Tim Cook and Steve Jobs were friends for a long time and had few things in common.
