iOS and iPadOS 13.6.1 software update are here with fixes for storage, exposure notification and some other issues.

Today Apple released iOS and iPadOS 13.6.1 with minor updates. Last update was focusing on Car Keys and Audio Apple News+ stories. The updates are available on all eligible devices over-the-air in the Settings app. Please feel free to go to Settings > General > Software Update.

There were small issue with storage being low when attempting deleted unnecessary system data files. Thermal management issue needed to be fixed due to green tint display impacted on some iPhone users. Last, Exposure Notification can be disabled for unknown reason and had to fix it too. Let’s taking a note at Apple’s full release notes for the update in the below:

“iOS 13.6.1 includes bug fixes for your ‌iPhone‌.

– Addresses an issue where unneeded system data files might not be automatically deleted when available storage is low
– Fixes a thermal management issue that caused some displays to exhibit a green tint
– Fixes an issue where Exposure Notifications could be disabled for some users

It looks like iOS 13.6.1 would be last updates to the iOS 13 operating system till Apple plans to release iOS 14 this fall.
